Children's services

We want to make sure that children and young people have access to the health service that is right for them. NHS Hounslow CCG is determined to streamline the commissioning of children's health care.

Many children and young people suffer from emotional difficulties and mental health problems. The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) provides help and support for Hounslow’s children and young people from birth to their 18th birthday who need specialist support, and for their families and carers.

The CCG is working with local partners on a joint prevention agenda.

This includes:

  • Hounslow-wide community children’s contract
  • Opportunity to streamline (health and social care)
  • Improve current service for children with disabilities
  • Extend personal health budgets for children with Learning Disability
  • Improve GP and hospital cross over
  • CAMHS - Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services - Implementation
